ZURMAT FOUNDATION, (Help Vulnerable People) asks you to join and Help Afghanistan. ZURMAT FOUNDATION is an Afghan-owned and operated non-profit, non-political, humanitarian organization committed to helping Afghans become self-sufficient and independent. The country has been devastated and ravaged by a 30-years war and the population has been and still is in immediate need of assistance and has become dependent on charity. However, we must try and focus on projects and programs with longer-term goals. Begging encourages dependence, removes a sense of self-respect, and destroys a person's dignity and even his/her freedom. Through ZURMAT FOUNDATION and our work with other organizations, we hope to put greater emphasis on helping the population toward self-sufficiency. ZURMAT FOUNDATION asks all of us to unite and help those less fortunate.
